A-frame

Application area

A-frame is designed to search for damage of the insulation of underground pipelines by contact method on alternating current and can be used in conjunction with the meter Diacor or pipeline finder UT-1 Mendeleevets.

The A-frame is a rigid structure with two steel electrodes installed and is equipped with a connecting wire for connection to measuring instruments. The frame has a fixed distance between the electrodes (1 meter), which is convenient for measuring the distance.

A-frame allows operator to search for insulation damages alone.
