Universal pipeline finder UT-1 Mendeleevets is designed for detection of the pipeline axis of underground metal constructions, the depth of metal constructions laying, the condition of protective coverings (method of Insulation Damage Detection) and integral assessment of protective coverings condition with a non-contact method.

Detection of the pipeline axis
Universal pipeline finder UT-1 Mendeleevets consists of two modules: receiving module and search module. The receiving module has LCD, keyboard, nonvolatile memory, accumulator battery, AC voltage measuring block. For measurement of AC voltage it is possible to use steel electrodes of trademark EST Mendeleevets. The search module includes three inductive magnetic field sensors. Processed data is transferred from the sensors to the receiving module. For supplying the signal at a given frequency to the metal construction it is recommended to use the generator for finding pipelines GP-1 Mendeleevets.
