Potential Converter for ESZ
Application area
The Potential Converter for the zinc reference electrode (hereinafter - Converter) is designed to harmonize the measuring input of the cathodic protection station with the zinc reference electrode ESZ Mendeleevets (hereinafter – ESZ).
Technical details
Cathodic protection stations (CPS) are providing automatic maintenance of the total protective potential and have the range of potential setting from minus 0.5 to minus 3.5 V. This range is designed for copper-sulfate reference electrodes. When connecting the zinc electrode ESC to the cathodic protection station automation will give a signal about the open circuit of the reference electrode. To solve this problem it is necessary to connect the ESC electrode to the cathodic protection station through the Converter.
